Children's Programs

Children's Church- We offer Children's Church during all 3 of our church services (8:15, 9:15, 10:15). Children begin the worship service with their parents/guardians. After the opening music, children will be invited to leave the service for a children’s version of the scripture, music, and/or activity. Children will return during the closing music. When communion is offered, children will return early to receive it with their families.

JAM- "Jesus and Me" is our mid-week program for grades 1st-5th. It is led by Deanna Hendrich on Wednesday afternoons from 3:15-4:30. Children eat snacks, have music, play games, and study the Bible. THIS FORM includes a FAQ sheet and permission slip! Children must have a permission slip turned in to participate, so you can print this one or pick one up in the office! All forms can be turned into the church office.

Early Childhood Enrichment (ECE)- we offer a twice a week program for kids 2-4 years old. A Monday/Wednesday group for 2 and younger 3 year olds and a Tuesday/Thursday for older 3 year olds and 4 year olds. There is also a 4-day option if desired.  They meet from 8:30-11:30 with their teachers Anna Zink and Allison Schilling for play time, crafts, recreation, music, and some learning of letters, numbers and shapes. Recreation includes time in the gym, on the wooden ark outside, or at the beautiful play ground behind the church.

Acolytes- 2nd graders through 5th graders are invited to participate in lighting the candles at the 8:15 service. This is coordinated by Emma Anderson. Contact her at emmaandersonumc@gmail.com.

Missoula Children's Theater- each summer, in conjunction with the Clinton Arts Council, we host a week long theatrical program with two students from Missoula, Montana. Kids who have finished Kindergarten to graduating seniors can try out for more than 50 spots in the play! The program is free to participate in.  At the end of the week, the children put on a musical play - complete with costumes - for friends, family and the community - it is simply amazing what they learn in a week!
